Step by step instructions on hook up Belkin N300 wifi router to Hughes net HN9000. Seems to be no place on back of HN9000 to plug anything into

1. Unplug your computer from the back of the modem
2. Plug the LAN cable you just unplugged from the modem into one of the LAN ports on the router. (unless you want to run this computer wireless, in which case you can skip this step and use that LAN cable for the next step)
3. Get another LAN cable and connect one end to the spot where the computer was plugged into the modem and connect the other end to the WAN or internet port on your router.

You are now connected and ready to set the security and things in your router for wireless connecting, just follow the instructions for your router for this and holler if you have questions. If you connected a computer with a wire to the back of the router in step 2 above then that computer will be ready to get on the internet immediatly. I would hook it up with a wire to begin with anyhow, even if you want it to run wireless just untill you get the settings in the router set and then if you want you can unplug it and connect to the router wireless.
