The main page on the new website has a section called "tools quicklauch" (on the right side of the page). The "download status meter" utility is in that section. Be sure and uninstall the old meter if you have one before installing the new one.

Blaizes, this is Gen4 specific once you log in at http://my.hughesnet.com NOT myhughesnet.com FYI.

Below is an image, the tools quick launch section is highlighted in a red box, there you can find the status meter download.

I just had the Gen4 installed. Downloaded the new Status Meter after deleting the old one. Installed the new one. It will not recognize the modem. It keeps coming up with modem not found. www.systemcontrolcenter.com does not work. I ended up having to use http://192.168.0.1 to verify that it was talking to the modem.

Can anyone offer any suggestions where to procede? I have connected directly to the modem from the computer after trying to go through my home network. The results were the same. I have restarted the computer, router and the modem just in case the problem was there.
Thanks,
Dave

Sara, I didn't want to start a new Gen4 Status Meter... our reset date is October 28th and suddenly tonight this shows up under the account page. The meter down in the right hand section of my computer screen - in the display bar - shows we've been reset to 100% What gives?

i don't know much about computers so if i started a bus. i would make sure i had someone that could fix problems. gen 4 can't fix the problems we are having about our "status meters",an the message "can not connect to proxy server". so it is fix or move on to some one that doesn't have those problem.
